A built-in digital camera with 15x magnification will easily magnify, capture and store photos with VGA resolution. The spotting scope also has 16MB of internal memory that will hold dozens of images that can be downloaded to a computer using a standard USB port and a USB cable that comes with the scope.
In the field, the scope functions as a spotting scope, but if a special event occurs the image can be quickly and easily captured. Birders can now permanently record their life list accomplishments and share them immediately with friends or save them for viewing later.
