Customer Reviews Buy the same thing for cheaperThis is a good tripod for the Flip Ultra, but why not buy this one instead? It's a lot less money and is pretty much exactly the same thing!: [[ASIN:B00009RUCH Vanguard VS41 Flexible MiniTripod]] Really the only difference is the Vanguard model doesn't come with the different color feet and it doesn't say 'Flip'. Or you could get the Gorilla Pod: [[ASIN:B000EVSLRO Joby GP1-01EN Gorillapod Flexible Tripod (Grey)]] which is a bit more versatile in that you can attach it to a pole or edge of a chair, etc. A mini tripod really makes it easier to do videos since you can put it almost anywhere yet still get your Flip Ultra level. It also provides more stability to better prevent it from toppling over.  Glad I bought thisWhen people saw my little tripod they laughed, but I am so glad I have it. The tripod has come in handy so many times in the last few months that I have had it. I can tape things on TV and put it on my computer. Any place that there is a service you can place it there and people won't even notice it is sitting there. You can wrap the legs around things too just make sure it is screwed on well. As people have said it is really well made and a great price. Perfect for the Flip Ultra!I love this tripod! It's just the right size for the Flip Ultra camcorder. Easily slips into your purse or bag to provide a stable base for smooth videos. |
